About

I am smitten with Atlanta. I believe Black Lives Matter. I own a small indie bookstore in East Atlanta Village. I care deeply about housing justice, education, and reproductive justice. I am a huge MARTA fan. I’ve got the most adorable almost 6th grader, an incorrigible Boxer named Delilah, and a pretty amazing husband named Simon. I’m queer. I’ve been sober for 13+ years. I heart coffee. On any given day I may write about all–or none–of those things.

  1. Just heard you an Simon on the SInce Right Now podcast. Great interview. Glad to have found you on WordPress.

  2. Thanks for being so open about your experience with recovery and for the meaningful work you’re doing to break down stigma!

I wanted to encourage you to apply to Quartet’s Patient Advisory Committee, it’s a unique opportunity for people who are open to sharing their experiences with behavioral health conditions (including substance and alcohol use issues) to make an impact: http://www.quartethealth.com/patients
